Breath and Bandha
5:30-7:30pm

Inhalation and exhalation are two sides of the inner body. In this class learn how the breath is the key to unlocking the mysteries of inner strength and accessing a calm, meditative mind. Only by mastering the breath will you gain true access to the power centers deep within your pelvis, often referred to as the “bandhas”. These energy locks are both physical muscles that you can access and spiritual doors that you can walk through. Often the missing key to a flowing practice, the integration of breath and bandha, lead the way to the discovery of limitless power and lasting peace both in your yoga practice and in your life.

Immerse yourself in the indescribable experience of the Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style method. Under Kino’s guidance, you will learn how to practice and work each pose without forcefulness. Let Kino expand your understanding on asanas you find challenging and assist you in adjustments to improve the strength, flexibility and determination to practice every day. Through this experience you will learn something new each time you step on the mat.

Be Strong
1:00-3:00pm

True strength in the journey of yoga begins with a decision to never give up. Enjoy challenging yourself to exceed your limits as you try fun arm balances, powerful lift-ups and develop a strong mind. Leave with solid technical instructions that unlock the keys to the strength poses of yoga. This class shows you how to practice safely and effectively along the inner path of strength. With a brave heart and a tenacious spirit the impossible becomes possible. Learn what it means to truly be strong and expect to sweat!

Led Primary and Conference
9:00am-12:00pm

Surrender to the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method with careful emphasis on the traditional vinyasa method and have fun along the journey. Experience the integrity and purity of the Ashtanga Yoga practice and be prepared to sweat. After practice, we will have a talk on yoga and we will wrap up with a conference and Q&A session!

Secrets of Flexibility
1:00-3:00pm

If you think that flexibility just isn’t for you or feel blocked on key poses like forward bends or bends this is the perfect class for you! Learn how to cultivate the calm and equanimous mind and tap into an inner state of infinite possibility. There is a place of infinite peace within, you just need to discover it. Instead of forcing your body into submission, change the paradigm and set yourself and your body free. Surrender is the magic word that opens the locked doors of the inner body. Dive deeply within and discover what it means to truly be flexible.
